Heal yourself naturally
The ability to naturally heal oneself has been with us for hundreds of years. By embracing and engaging our inherent inner knowledge, we can gain access to a very powerful tool- the ability to resist illness, and heal oneself naturally. Becoming aware of high stress levels, and being in tune with our past, and the effect both have on the mind, body and spirit, are just the lower steps we need to climb in order to become a balanced, healthy being and less susceptible to illness. What foods we consume, what vitamins we take, and what sleep we get (or don�t get), also play a big roll in healing what ails us.

There are many practices that can help lead us to a higher level of awareness, but you must find what works for you. So open your mind to some knew ideas, and remember, knowledge is power.

Meditation
A period of time set aside to slow down the mind and just chill out, get in touch with the inner self and listen to what it has to say. A short period of recharging your eternal being, while bringing clarity and insight into your life. Take time just to slow down that turbulent mind. Inner clarity aides in decision making.

Journaling
A collection of your thoughts, written honestly and in detail, revealing your feeling, fears, reflections, intention and desires. Journaling helps clarify who you are, focuses your mind to help resolve issues, and achieve what you want and need in life. It can also be an escape from the outside world, with no judgment or criticism, and it instills in you a sense of freedom, and unbounded energy.

Reiki (ray-key)--Universal Life Force Energy
This ancient Japanese art of hands on healing was rediscovered in the early 1900�s, and brought to the United States in the latter part of this century. It is used for centuries to reduce stress, relieve pain, enhance relaxation, and help promote healing, as well as bringing about conscious awareness. A technique now being employed in many hospitals across the country by a variety of health care workers, Reiki does not conflict with traditional medical treatment, but rather enhances its benefits.

All or a combination of the above, combined with eating the right kinds of food (such as organically grown fruits and vegetables), taking the proper vitamins and adhering to a proper exercise routine, can all help you achieve not only spiritual transformation and satisfaction, but an all around glowing, healthier you.
